J.Y.'s musical influence stems from having a father who began working with Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth as well as Eddie F. His mother also instilled music from the New Jack Swing era into his life. "When I was young, New Jack (Swing) was poppin'. I was heavily influenced by that. That's why I love R&B. Shit, I like R&B more than rap. If I could sing, I wouldn't be rappin. My music has a lot of chick songs, cause that's what I like. New Jack is exactly that, R&B over hip-hop beats and my chick songs are hip-hop over R&B beats." Luckily, that's not all J.Y. offers. His wide range of topics include teenage pregnancy, providing money for his family, relationship problems, the theory of college, his incarcerated brother and friends, and his most emotional topic, the suicidal death of his father. "Everybody has problems that irk them. I just choose to let all of my frustrations out instead of hold them in." J.Y.'s experience with writing music is unusual for somebody his age. Well it should be, he's been writing music since he was 7 years old. His music can be enjoyed by all ages. With the release of
his mixtape, It's Daddy, J.Y. will definitely let
the world hear what he has to say. |

| Will Sullivan grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens NY, in the late eighties. As a kid, young Sullivan discovered a way to express the harsh reality of his environment through music. As the son of a musical arranger, Will was creating drum patterns using drum boxes his father discarded by the age of seven. Fastfoward, By the age of twenty; Will Sullivan had found his way into Daddy's House Studios tracking out beats for the likes of Marc Curry, Craig Mack, Loon, and a placement on Shyne's sophomore album titled "Martyr." While the talented producer worked on his beats he devoted equal time to his flow and lyrics. He is considered a weapon amongst his peers for his double talent. Dropping mixtape after mixtape Will Sullivan is able to promote himself as a artist and producer. Driven by his success, Will Sullivan incorporated Catacomb Music. The Catacomb, he explains means dungeon, burial ground, or underground vault for treasure. As the sole artist and producer of Catacomb Music, he has provided tracks for underground artist Johnny Blanco, and with the assistance of Kah so real, a track for Tony Yayo of G-unit. With over ten years in, and the desire to take it, Will Sullivan is proving he is a force to reckon with. The mix tape "Kill Will vol. 2" provides a cinematic street scene that is appealing to the listener. With street anthem "What I'm About", party joint "Dope Man" and , sex story "Fatal Orgasm" he offers diversity with quality music. | |
